One of the best ways to beat the heat during Utah summers is to make the most of evening activities—and one of my favorites is outdoor movies. Get ready to make some unforgettable memories as you watch a movie with brilliant stars above you and cool grass beneath. And Utah County has dozens of nearby options for you, your friends, and family to enjoy. (Many free movies and concerts are also featured during the city celebrations throughout the summer in Utah County. For more details about these fun activities and celebrations, click here.)

American Fork

American Fork hosts free concerts at the Quail Cove Amphitheater (851 E. 700 N.) on Monday nights through June and July. The music begins at 7 p.m., so grab a blanket and enjoy some music as you watch the sun set. For more information, visit steeldaysaf.com.

For ten years Provo has been hosting a free Rooftop Concert series on the first Friday night of the month throughout the summer. This summer’s series kicks off with The National Parks, Mindy Gledhill, and Robert Loud on June 7.
