Our 7 Step Buying Process:

Beginning your home search can be an overwhelming and daunting task. Because of that, our team makes sure that you, and all other potential buyers, understand each of the 7 steps that we take to make the process as easy and painless as possible. By the end of your search, with our support and guidance, you will live happily ever after in your new, dream home.

Step 1: Meet in Person

The first step in your home buying journey begins with the first real conversation you have with Kasby Real Estate Group. Some of our clients describe what that first conversation was like and how it helped them jump into the exciting experience of finding and buying their new home!

Step 2: Pre-qualify with a lender

The next important step in your home buying journey continues with a conversation with a lender. We’ll introduce you to one of our mortgage partners, who can help you determine your buying price range with confidence. Be prepared to dig into paperwork during this part of the process such as pay stubs, W2’s, and tax returns. The lender will do a full review and then tell you what you will be able to borrow in order to purchase a home. This is a vital step in the home buying process!

Step 3: The home search begins

After meeting with a lender the fun part begins! You might look at one home or ten homes but what is most important is that you find the home that meets your goals. Need to move for a job? Want a shorter commute? Getting married? Having a baby? Need to upgrade or downsize? We will go the distance with you! At this stage in the process, we’ll send you notifications about the listings that you’re most likely to be excited about. Our market is moving fast and during this stage we will discuss the innovative and nontraditional ways we help our clients find the right home.

Step 4: Write and negotiate an offer

After you've found "The One", it's time to write the offer! We look at other comparable properties together and review the contract together as we discuss a negotiating strategy that puts you in the best possible position to get the property for the best terms for you. 

Step 5: Offer acceptance and property inspection

Once the offer is accepted, it’s time to get your home inspected. We have trusted inspector partners and other professionals that can help with the inspection process.

Step 6: Time to close

Going the distance means being with our clients from start to finish. We don't hand them off to another person we see things through to the end. Things can still go sideways up until closing so it is critical a professional is managing all of the moving parts.
